In the autumn chill of Indiana’s fall racing season, Dakoda Armstrong arrived at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park with one mission for the final race of the season. After a season marked by steady momentum, calculated aggression, and the occasional setback, he only needed one more solid day at the track to clinch the 2025 500 Sprint Car Tour Championship.

Tyler Roahrig capped off a strong 500 Sprint Car Tour season with his fifth-straight Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park victory Saturday afternoon.  Meanwhile, a new series champion was crowned.

The Plymouth, IN driver took the lead with a two for one pass on Dakoda Armstrong and Kody Swanson on lap five and was on cruise control the rest of the way en route to another victory with the series.

The 2025 500 Sprint Car Tour season is set to come to a close this Saturday. October 25th at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park. The Halloween Fest event will be the fourth consecutive year of the famed Brownsburg, Indiana track hosting the final 500 Sprint Car Tour event of the season.

The 500 Sprint Car Tour is proud to announce a new multi-year entitlement partnership with Byrd Insurance Group, further strengthening the series’ growth and long-term vision. As part of the agreement, the tour will officially be named the YourBigPlans.com 500 Sprint Car Tour beginning with the upcoming 2026 season.

In conjunction with Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park Officials, the 500 Sprint Car Tour has announced that this Saturday’s Halloween Fest event has been postponed for one week due to wet weather forecasts. The event will now be held on Friday, October 24th (Practice Day) and Saturday, October 25th (Race Day/Trunk-or-Treat).

For the fourth time in as many years, the 500 Sprint Car Tour season will come to a close at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park. Known as the second home of the 500 Sprint Car Tour, the facility has played host to five Sprint Car Tour events over the past three seasons.

The 500 Sprint Car Tour returns to Anderson Speedway for the final time in 2025 as the Championship battle heats up with only two races left in the season. Dakoda Armstrong currently maintains a 25-point lead over Bobby Santos III in the season point standings. Two-time tour champion, Kody Swanson, is currently in third place with a 52-point deficit.

Dakoda Armstrong’s second 500 Sprint Car Tour win of the season came in emphatic fashion, leading all 50 laps en route to the win in the Kentuckiana Ford Dealers Joe James/Pat O’Connor Memorial Presented By The Hoosier Lottery And Earl’s Of Indy at Salem Speedway.

The 500 Sprint Car Tour invades the Highbanks of Salem Speedway for the second consecutive year on Saturday, September 13th, 2025.
