United States Speed Association

The United States Speed Association (USSA) partners with the 500 Sprint Car Tour at several events. The USSA is proud to co-sanction the annual Little 500. The USSA works closely with the 500 Sprint Car Tour on many activities behind the scenes, in an effort to make the nations most prestigious pavement sprint car race a success. The USSA also sanctions the Kenyon Midget Series. The Kenyon Midget Series provides a critical step for drivers looking to move up from karting and quarter midgets, and then on to sprint cars. The competitive, cost-effective series allows drivers to learn race-craft, the mechanical aspects of a midget/sprint style race car, and also get laps on many of the tracks they will race on when they move up to the bigger sprint cars. The Kenyon Midget Series has proven to be a valuable place to learn. Several current 500 Sprint Car Tour drivers got their start in Kenyon Midgets, including Dakoda Armstrong, Kyle O’Gara, Billy Wease, Taylor Ferns and others.

The USSA Kenyon Midget Series joins the 500 Sprint Car Tour at 6 events in 2023. This includes April 8 at Anderson Speedway, June 10 at Berlin Raceway, July 8 at Anderson Speedway, July 22 at Berlin Raceway, Sept 9 at Lorain Raceway Park, and Oct 7 at Anderson Speedway.
