Drivers Reveal Their Most Anticipated Tracks of the 2026 Season

As anticipation builds for the 2026 season, drivers across the yourBIGplans.com 500 Sprint Car Tour are already circling dates on the calendar. From legendary high-banked ovals to hometown showdowns and historic short tracks, this year’s schedule is filled with races that mean more than just points. We asked drivers which tracks they’re most excited to compete at and why.

Brady Allum — Salem Speedway

#87 Gen 3 Motorsports

“I’m really looking forward to all of them. I really believe we found something at the end of the year that’s gonna help at a lot of places. If I had to pick one it would be Salem Speedway. I had a blast there last year and I can’t wait to bring the new car there and see what we can do.”

Donnie Adams Jr. — Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park

#4 DB Adams Motorsports LLC

“I’ve grown up watching races there since I was a kid with USAC and Thursday Night Thunder. It puts on the best racing of any other track with multiple lanes and has the feeling of high speeds along with finesse in the corners.”

Dakoda Armstrong — Jennerstown Speedway

#1 C&A Motorsports

“Jennerstown. Anytime we go somewhere new with the sprint cars, it's really exciting. Plus, it’s a track that a lot of drivers don’t have a ton of experience at.”

Nathan Byrd — Winchester Speedway

#40 Myers Auto Research

“I think i am looking forward to Winchester. I think we had a very strong car last year and it was very enjoyable to learn to race the high banks there.

Cord Ehrhart — Winchester Speedway

#OZ Cord Ehrhart

“I am looking forward to Winchester the most. I love the speedway and its history. I have raced there in several different classes of cars, and I want to build upon what we learned last summer. I can’t wait!”

Taylor Ferns - Winchester Speedway

#55 Taylor Ferns Racing

Winchester Speedway is my favorite track. I love the high banks and things that challenge me. It demands a lot out of the driver and really pushes you to the limit - mentally and physically.

Colin Grissom — Anderson Speedway / Little 500 & Winchester Speedway

#00 Colin Grissom

“Hometown race for a hometown driver. Little 500 because it’s the biggest race and you have to have the endurance and just the atmosphere of the whole week.”

“Winchester is another one. I’ve been going there and watching races since I was a kid and have always wanted to race there. It’s fast, intense, and always has good racing. Also, it’s historic — many people have made names for themselves there and I would like to be one of them.”

Tony Main — Winchester Speedway & Jennerstown Speedway

#74 Glen & Virginia Main

“Winchester, no place else like it. It will be really neat going to Jennerstown as well.”

Jackson Macenko — Anderson Speedway/Little 500 & Owosso Speedway

#24 Brad Hayes Racing

“The Little 500 for sure, especially after the way last year’s ended. I think we had a fantastic chance to win before our final pitstop cycle.”

“For points paying races, Owosso for a few different reasons. It’s a really fun track, and I think it raced very well… I’m also really interested in the new projects and developments that the facility is making. I can’t wait to see how that track and facility evolves over the years!”

Tony McVey — Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park

#47 Tony McVey

“That’s a tough one, I’m usually just looking forward to the next one, but IRP is probably the one that stands out most.”

Kyle O’Gara — Anderson Speedway/Little 500 & Owosso Speedway

#67 SFH Racing Development

Little 500 at Anderson Speedway

“Coming up one spot short in 2025 made me want that win so much more. Success all year stems from your team, but Little 500 takes that to a whole different level. It is 100% a team effort event.”

Owosso Speedway

“After setting quick time and finishing runner up there in 2025, I feel like this was the closest anyone was to knocking the 56 off of the top step of the podium during the Michigan swing. The track and facility in general have set the bar high for all other venues across the country.”

Tyler Roahrig — Winchester Speedway

#56 Rocket Fabrication & Suspension

“It is a place that I have struggled, so to me it’s a big challenge. But now I feel as though I am learning more of what I want and need out of the car and out of myself as a driver at Winchester.”

From redemption stories to hometown pride, new challenges, and historic ambition, the 2026 season is already fueled by motivation and momentum. Each track offers a different test — and each driver has a different reason to chase it. One thing is certain: the 500 Sprint Car Tour schedule is set to deliver another unforgettable year of racing.
