Halloween Fest at IRP Postponed One Week
In conjunction with Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park Officials, the 500 Sprint Car Tour has announced that this Saturday’s Halloween Fest event has been postponed for one week due to wet weather forecasts. The event will now be held on Friday, October 24th (Practice Day) and Saturday, October 25th (Race Day/Trunk-or-Treat). The schedule for Friday’s practice day will remain the same as the previously scheduled October 17th practice. An updated schedule for Saturday, October 25th will be released later this week.
The October 25th event will play host to the 500 Sprint Car Tour’s season ending championship race. Three drivers are currently in contention for the championship as Dakoda Armstrong leads Kody Swanson and Tyler Roahrig by 36 and 92 points respectively. Swanson is a two time, and defending, series champion, and Roahrig is the 2023 series champion. Armstrong will be looking for his first series championship after being firmly in the hunt in past seasons.
Halloween Fest at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park is set for Saturday, October 25th. The 500 Sprint Car Tour will be joined by the National Pavement Midget Championship and the All-Star Pavement Midgets. Tickets for the event will be $25 for adults, while kids aged 12 and under will receive free admission. A final schedule for the event will be released later this week with updated admission and racing times. Fans that are unable to attend can see all of the action live on DIRTVision.
